Q:
How much does it cost to have my
vehicle picked up?
A:
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We will arrange to have your vehicle
picked up free of charge at a time and date that is
convenient to your busy schedule.
Q: My car is not running, can I still donate
it?
A:
YES! We take vehicles in running or non-running condition.
All we ask is that you try to furnish as much information on
the vehicle as possible so we can be properly prepared to
pick up your vehicle.
Q: I lost my title, what can I do?
A: NO
PROBLEM! We are able to pick up your vehicle without a title
if you have a registration showing you as the owner
and no lien
holder.
Our drivers are prepared with the necessary paperwork to
save you a trip to DMV. Please make sure to mention this on
your online form or when you speak to our representative.
Q: I lost my title, and even though I paid
off my vehicle, my registration still shows a lien holder.
What can be done?
A: You
must obtain an lien satisfied form from the bank that is
shown on your registration. Generally this is not a
problem. Simply contact the bank or lending institution and
let them know you need a LIEN SATISFIED FORM. They may ask
a series of questions to determine that this vehicle was
indeed paid for, but it should be a fairly simple task.
Unfortunately, for legal reasons, we are not able to pick up
your vehicle until this is completed. If you need assistance
with this process, we are here to help.

Q: I lost my title, and I DO NOT have my
registration. What can I do?
A: You
can visit your local DMV office and request your vehicle's
record. You will need to furnish the Vehicle ID Numer (VIN)
and the License Plate. This report is generally known as a
KSR. Once you have this, you will need to make sure there is
no lien holder. Your name should appear as Registered Owner
(R/O), and if there is a lien holder, it will generally
appear as Legal Owner (L/O). If you have questions or need
help determining this information, please
Contact Us.
Q: Do I need to be present when my vehicle is
picked up by the tow company?
A:
Preferably, yes. The reason for this is that our drivers
can make sure we have all the proper signatures for the
transfer of your vehicle. However, if you are unable to be
there, there are a couple of ways that we can still pick up
your vehicle. Please
Contact Us so we can guide you through the paperwork
process.
Q: What will you do with my vehicle once I
donate it?
A:
Your vehicle will be taken to an auto center where it will
be evaluated for disposition. In some cases, we
may make some mechanical repairs to ensure that our
charities receive the highest possible value for your
donation. Please do not hesitate to
Contact Us is you have any other questions regarding
your donated vehice.
Q: What types of donations are accepted?
A: We
welcome donations of cars, trucks, vans, boats, trailers,
motorcycles and almost any motorized unit. We also welcome
your household goods and appliances. If you are unsure about
your donation, please
Contact Us, we are here to help!
Q: Who determines the value of my donation?
A:
The Federal Government now allows only the amount received
when resold. Lions attempt to maximize your donation
by selling retail rather than at auction. Please

this process. |
